Andrew Keech - Music from the Movies, UK, N° 40
Lewis Furey's music is a wonderful flowing score that has the structure and presence of a suite from Vaughan Williams, but with the magical touch associated with composers like Georges Delerue and John Barry. As with all Disque Cinémusique releases, the sixteen page sleeve notes are in French and English and give an informative and interesting insight into the film and its music. This touching and warm music is a real delight and comes highly recommended.
